My name is Xiao Yingping. I’m the first one to invent Air Cleaning & Sterilizing Light in the world. I have worked in LED manufacture industry since 2009. In 2011, I established my own company, Shenzhen YueLiang Technology Co.,LTD. Our mission is to provide lighting solutions for wellness of the society. We started with the LED strip. When most of people were working on this, I developed new products, and produced LED tubes. When the LED tubes became price oriented, I improved my production process, lowering the cost to 70% of similar products. so I obtained better profits. When others were focusing on the LED tubes, I developed new products again and began to produce LED panel light. When more people got into the panel light business, I started the development for strip light, linear light and so on. I prefer to be the leader in the industry, not the follower. I continued to develop new products, improved our productive technology and gained competitive advantages in the market. In 2015, I was thinking, what will the next trend of lighting be? and what is the future of lighting? I thought about it over and over.
In my opinion, the luminaire is not simply for light. Nowadays, everyone pursue the healthy life. Can we combine our light with health ? Will health lighting be the future fashion? Will health lighting be the future fashion? If it is, what will it be ? No hurt to eyes ? To purify air? to kill virus and bacteria ? or others? I started to study products and technologies with different functions. One day, When I learned the material named photocatalyst (nano-TiO2). I was so excited! That’s it!
Just as its name implies, photocatalyst means using light to activate it. It can purify air, sterilize and get rid of smell. I was so excited when I knew the functions of this material. Photocatalyst needs light, and that’s what we are doing now. Integrate photocatalyst into our light. What a perfect combination! I found the right way finally! So we started technology research and development. After hundreds of experiments, the new product was produced successfully. We sent the light to SGS, for authoritative inspection. It proved to kill bacteria, virus, clean air, remove formaldehyde and smell effectively. Moreover, we are the first one obtaining the report of sterilization of this product. Therefore, our first generation of photocatalytic light came out officially! We have obtained, utility patent, design patent from USA, Japan and so on. After that, we started to promote our products to the market. According to the market feedback, we upgraded our products rapidly. Firstly, we adjusted the proportion of photocatalyst and nano silver so that the photocatalyst could plays the ultra role of sterilization on the light. Secondly, we made a ventilation system on the light which can absorb the air into the device, and make the air contact with photocatalyst sufficiently and create better effect of sterilization. Thirdly, in the ventilation system, we added the HEPA filter system, in which PM2.5, dust, particulate matter and other harmful substances in the air would be filtered. It could effectively and purify air at the same time.
Soon, our second generation of Air Cleaning & Sterilizing Light had been launched. When the product was firstly promoted to the market, some clients thought it was very unique and tried to use, but it was not going fast. In 2019, when the Covid-19 pandemic outbreaked, our products started to get accepted by the market. The mayor of Milan requested to install our products in Malpensa Airport. Because of the endorsement of this project, our products became popular soon and sold well in European and American markets. We had developed more than 10 agents (distributors) there. Then SoftBank in Japan, CDN, and other famous brands in Italy, Dubai,all came to purchase from us. During the peak of pandemic in 2020, customers even gave more money to In order to buy our device.
So, we upgraded our products continually to meet different requirements from our customers. By 2022, our products have developed to the 6th generation. We are the inventor of Air Cleaning & Sterilizing Light. We set up this new industry. In the future, we will continue to work hard to bring the light and health to people! Thank you.
